My Dear Child~

You witnessed the horrible, premeditated bombings at the Boston Marathon recently…..that is hate in action. You saw people rush forward to help the injured, in spite of the danger they might encounter….this is love in action.

Hate destroys. Love helps and heals.

Those who hate have not been able to receive love….love from others or from Me. They are not whole, healthy people for you cannot be whole and healthy without love.

Love builds up, supports and if needed, heals the recipient. The recipient in turn shares that love with others for it is impossible to keep love to oneself. Unfortunately, it is also impossible to keep hate to oneself. (Luke 6:43-45)

It grieves Me to see My Children consumed by hate. It grieves Me to see their hate hurt others.

I will never stop seeking after My lost Children. (Luke 19:10, Luke 15) I want My Children to come to Me and have life; not be destroyed by hate.  (Proverbs 8:35-36)

If you or your loved ones have been hurt by hate, either by these bombings or other acts of hate, then come to Me and allow My Love to heal your wounds. (Psalm 147:3)

If you are whole, healthy and have love to share, then share it. By loving others you can help them and heal them. And maybe, just maybe, you will be the one person who will be instrumental in preventing further acts of violence.

This week, I’ve enjoyed listening to Don Francisco’s song  Only Love is Spoken Here

Out of that song and the Scriptures, God shared the following with me.  I hope you enjoy both the song and the devotion.

My dear Child~

Did you know that I am love? (1 John 4:16) When you are hurting and need someone to hold you and love you, come to Me.

When life is hard and you feel weary, burdened, stressed and beat down, come to Me.  I will protect you, strengthen you and give you rest.  (Matthew 11:28-30)  (Psalm 46:1-3)

When you have failed, come and talk to Me about it. There is no need to fear. I want to love you, restore you, and assure you that you are My Child. (1 John 1:9) (1 John 3:1)

Stay for as long as you need to.  I’m in no hurry.  After you feel loved, restored and refreshed, then go and share My love with others. They need it. And you are the perfect person to offer it to them.  (John 13:34-35)
